The House of Oud: White Pearl - A Distinctive Addition to Luxury Fragrances

The House of Oud (THOO) is renowned in the niche fragrance community for its luxurious and inventive scents. One of its latest creations, White Pearl, from the Royal Stones collection, is capturing attention. Initially introduced in October 2023 at a premiere event in Cannes, it was later featured at Esxence 2024 in Milan along with another new release, Guilty Crush. Slated for a mid-April 2024 release, White Pearl is eagerly anticipated by fragrance aficionados.

The perfume is inspired by the Akoya pearl, celebrated for its perfect round shape, stunning shades, and extraordinary sheen. This inspiration is elegantly reflected in the perfume’s design, with the bottle crafted to mimic the appearance of a delicate pearl, making it a prized piece for collectors.

White Pearl was developed by perfumer Cristian Calabro. It starts with top notes of Ylang-Ylang, Cardamom, and Pink Pepper, which introduce a spicy and exotic opening. The heart notes feature a blend of Rose, Iris, and Tonka Bean, creating a rich, floral middle with a hint of sweetness.

Completing the scent, the base notes of Ambergris and Marine notes evoke the deep, tranquil sea, mirroring the natural habitat of the pearl.
